Prior to joining Terre des hommes and Premiere Urgence International in Nigeria where she recently completed her mission; Ms Alem worked in different industries in Ethiopia like Humanitarian sector, hospitality and Floriculture industry and financial sector. She has a BA in Business Management and from Hawassa University and an International Certificate in Management principles from ILM (International Leadership Management, UK) and is now currently attending Master’s Degree distance class in “International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid”– Spain.
Monaliza Bekele has more than twenty years comprehensive experience with progressively higher responsibilities in safeguarding, social work and gender both on humanitarian and development sector. Monaliza has extensive experience on investigation, case management, capacity building, accountability mechanism, safe programing and safeguarding audit with international and regional position in Myanmar and ESA respectively. She has an MA on International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid-Spain and BA in Educational Psychology from Addis Ababa University.
Michael Shiferaw is a seasoned HR and Organizational Development professional with over 15 years experiences at strategic and senior leadership level in various INGOs and Bilateral organizations. He has worked as Director of Administration and Finance at WaterAid, as Head of Operations at the Brooke and as Head of HR and Corporate Services in British Council Ethiopia. Currently, Michael is working in Oxfam as Roving International HR Business Partner and he is a Country Safeguarding Focal Point for Oxfam Ethiopia and he is in the global pool of trained and certified Safeguarding Investigators.Michael has served as a President for the Society of Human Resources Management in Ethiopia, a national HR Professional Association for two terms and currently serving as a member of the Board of Experts for RSH-Ethiopia and as a board member of the Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD).
