HQAI is an independent auditor for the humanitarian and development sector. Professional, not-for-profit and non-governmental, HQAI supports organisations in improving the quality and accountability of aid.

HQAI provides independent audits against the Core Humanitarian Standard, which incudes indicators on PSEAH.

HQAI understands that the cost of an audit could be a barrier for small or national organisations. To address this, they have established a HQAI Facilitation Fund to support organisations in countries affected by crisis in covering their audit costs. Applications are made to an independent committee, which grants subsidies that can cover up to 90% of the cost of an audit.  Please contact them for further details.
